Canadian Pacific Expressway lorries-on-trains service
This is a 4 minute video about Canadian Pacific Railway's Expressway service
between Montreal, Toronto and Detroit. It is very similar technically and
commercially to Central Railway's proposed lorries on trains services.
Although operating in a much smaller market than the UK-Continent road
freight market, CP Expressway indicates that hauliers will use, and railways
can offer, such services, and over much the same distances as those
envisaged here.
